Content has begun rolling out for Just 1 More Level as we're finally gotten a handle on scheduling and understanding this crazy thing called life that we live in. Plus, the passion for gaming has become much stronger lately and with it, the drive to provide a platform where people can go to harness honest and thoughtful discussion. When J1ML launched back in 2010, there was a revolution happening within the gaming journalism bubble. Reviews were easily getting bought up and truth coverage of gaming (like that of EGM and 1UP) was fading fast. We created this network and partnered with various other groups to develop a network that gave gamers a real voice.
All Your Base, Double Jump, All Your Show, PJ Gamers and Just 1 More Level all established a feel that was unlike anything on the market. Of course the last major piece of that puzzle was lost back in 2015, but for 5 years, we were thought to be a nerds haven. That place that everyone felt was looking out for them. And while the various pieces got lost, Just 1 More Level stayed in the basement, plotting the day that it could reemerge as a force for the people!
All in all, it's been a struggle to get a routine in shape, but honestly, we weren't trying all that hard. Life had different plans for all of us as we moved to projects and ultimately most focusing on their lives outside of this. Of course some of us have been itching to get back into this crazy world, reentering a beloved industry after just 5 years is weird, as sooooo much has changed in that time. I know that I feel out of place with where things are now, however, I don't feel that's a bad thing. Especially as a new console generation is about to start up.
SO! On to what matters. Just 1 More Level is going to be host a live stream series, something more in line with an old fashioned Let's Play to get things started. Tridrakious is just going to pick up some random PS4, Xbox One and maybe some PC games to start out (don't worry, we're going to bring PS5 and Xbox Series X into the fold too when they launch). Bringing random guests on to experience the wonderful joys of gaming. We would love to hear from you on what games to play, what your favorites are and if you'd like to join in on some gameplay sessions.
The main genre that will be focused on (at least initially) will be RPG's of all flavors, but we'll branch out from there once we've got a few complete playthroughs under our belts. You will likely start seeing videos coming from Tridrakious' Twitch channel, very, very soon
