Blizzard has announced 3 new heroes coming to Heroes of the Storm. The only one with a video as of yet is Kharazim, the Monk from Diablo 3; he will a mobile hero with different paths to specialize his traits in. Players can choose to focus on attack damage, healing through attack, or a balance of offense and defense.
Update: We have video showing off his abilities.
The second hero announced was Rexxar. Originally introduced in the Founding of Durotar Orc campaign after the main story of Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, he is taking a shift from his melee focus and becoming a ranged warrior. Still taking Misha, his pet bear, into battle, Misha will act as a buffer that allows for harassment, tanking, and buffing.
Update: Video showing Rexxar as well.

The final character to be introduced is Artanis, the Leader of the Protoss and a warrior who will spend a lot of face to face time with enemies. Details on Artanis seem to be scarce right now, but as they emerge, you can be certain we will be talking about him quite a bit. Speculation puts him as the free hero that will come with Starcraft 2's newest expansion.
The new battleground is a Diablo themed three lane map that will have shrines that unleash powerful bosses that, once defeated. begin to push their individual lane. All three are different, so choosing which shrine to capture can end up being a strategic decision that will alter the outcome of every round.
The full story can be found at Blizzard's update.
