Batman: The TellTale Series (PS4) Review

Let me start off by saying that I'm a huge fan of almost anything TellTale does. They had me hooked with the first Walking Dead season countless years ago. And I finally got to dive into their newest adventure, Batman!

First thing I noticed was that the game tends to be choppy. Like, unable to not see that it's choppy (chapter 5 is the worst by far) and it pulls away from the experience. However, the story, the graphics and the gameplay help bring the experience back together in a nice fit bow. The biggest gripe I think I have with TellTale games overall is the lack of difficulty on display. While I'm not a fan of losing/dying in games, I never really feel like I'm even bothered to try. I believe I died maybe twice during the entire span of playing.

That being said, the story is incredible and takes a new spin on several mainstays of the Batman's lore/universe. The player takes up the mantle of Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman and you must decide how to handle situation…

Official Paul George Nike PlayStation Shoes

Nike, Paul George and Sony have announced a collaboration on some new high-tech foot wear. Some shoes that are licensed by Sony, donning the PlayStation themes, designed by Nike for the Paul George's line of shoes, dubbed PG2. These shoes have the iconic colors and patterns of the PlayStation brand.

One tongue has the PS logo and the other has the Paul George logo, both light up and have a 150 hour battery life. The batteries are not rechargeable, so if you get them, be cautious on how long you have the lights on. There is a button you can press that will turn the lights on and off. There is also a vibration that occurs when you turn the lights on and off. Kinda cool.

The shoes are probably going to be limited, but they will go on sale soon at $110. Get yours as soon as you can.

PlayStation Totaku Figures Announced

*UPDATE* It has been confirmed (for a little while now, we're just late in updating the story) that this is a GameStop/ThinkGeek product line and will feature more than just characters from PlayStation or that have a deep PlayStation history.
*ORIGINAL ARTICLE*
Sony has announced a toy line called Totaku which feature iconic PlayStation characters (and some third party icons that are BASICALLY synonymous with PlayStation). And before you cry out that Sony is copying Nintendo's Amiibo toys. Hold on. Totaku is more copying the World of Nintendo toy line.

You see, these figures don't appear to have NFC (near field communication) tech under the hood...well...stands. These are strictly toys. Collectible toys, that Sony licensed to ThinkGeek (a GameStop company) to manufacture and sell.

Totaku Collection goes on sale in March and the figures are $9.99 a piece. I will definitely be getting Kratos, Sackboy, Crash and the Bloodborne Hunter.

PS4 Sales Surpass 3DS Lifetime

According to reports coming out of VGChartz, PlayStation 4 sales have officially passed the lifetime sales of Nintendo's 3DS line (which also features 2DS and the various "NEW" 2DS and 3DS models) as of week ending November 25th, 2017. Sony was able to cross that milestone within the 4 year birthday of the monstrous launch of the PS4.

Most analysts are saying the PS4 will cross 100 million units sold by the end of 2018 and it sure looks likely of doing that. What with Spider-man, God of War and a slew of other exclusives heading to the system throughout the next year. Some have speculated that the recent successes of the Switch will not slow the PlayStation 4's momentum down and see it as a nice "sister" platform in people's homes.

Now with the PS4 doing so well (sales are to be hovering close to 75 million by the end of 2017), what this means for Sony's plans for a new PlayStation platform might be held off seeing how they have managed to sale alm…
