There is probably never going to be a KickStarter that does a better job of keeping their fans in the loop as Ys Net and the process of developing Shenmue III. Even with a worldwide publisher jumping on board, they are still consistently publishing content to keep people informed of where the game is at in development.

Sony's Andrew House, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, said that the 3 months through June have seen the PlayStation VR headset move through 500k more units. Estimates from the VGChartz community have the headset sitting around 2 million units sold in it's (roughly) first year of availability.
What's weird from the interview was that Andrew House seems afraid of the success of PSVR over the competition. Saying, "I'm not entirely comfortable being the market leader in VR by such a margin that seems to be happening right now." When he spoke with Reuters. "With such a brand new category you want a variety of platforms all doing well to create that rising tide and create the audience."
Being a market leader though means that you should do everything possible to push your brand, with games and software that makes the system desirable. Hard to understand why he would be uncomfortable with being the market leader in this category. Just …

High-definition cinematics and character modelsAuto-save featureSeven optional booster features, including high speed mode and no encounter mode, the Master All Abilities booster, allowing players to automatically master equipped weapons and gear, as well as features to maximize character levels, magic stone counts and gilPlayStation 4 trophy supportShare functionality and remote play with the PlayStation Vita
This is big news to see, because anything that has seen this treatment from Square-Enix, usually has a full PS4 remaster happen. (Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII, X, X-2, etc.)

Could Sony be feeling pressure from Microsoft with the looming launch of the Xbox One X? Seems interesting that they are suddenly pushing the PS4 Pro more now.

Square-Enix has announced a new Survival Action game for the PS4 during the Sony TGS 2017 press conference. Glad to see Square-Enix trying out a new IP, even though it's mostly a safe bet. Toshifumi Nabeshima is leading the development, only the director of the Armored Core franchise; with Takayuki Yanase designing the mechs on display...(has only worked on Ghost in the Shell: Arise, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Xenoblade Chronicles X...so those are in good hands as well).
