Gravity Rush 2 Coming to PS4

Well, if you were still holding out hope that Sony wasn't going to leave the Vita behind in the development of new software...well...hate to break it to you, but the biggest piece of evidence that they are in fact done with first party development on the handheld platform comes with the following video.
One of their best success stories on the Vita is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4, Gravity Rush 2. Check out the gameplay trailer below and check out Tridrakious on the following social media sites:

Tekken 7 Announced for the PlayStation 4 and VR

Tekken and PlayStation have been strong allies in gaming for 2 decades, going back to the 1990's on the OG PlayStation. So it isn't really a surprise to see Namco Bandai (or Bandai Namco) roll out a new Tekken title for Sony's current gen beast, the PS4 (along with Xbox One). What is surprising is the existence of Tekken 7 with PlayStation VR support.

Of course nothing was shown of the VR support, which only begs the question of; "Why include VR support for a fighting game"? Most likely they will toss various gimmicks into the game to make the feature "worth it". For me, it'll take quite a bit of effort to make me forget about Tekken 6.

Gran Turismo Sport Announced for PS4

Kazunori Yamauchi, Father of Gran Turismo, alongside Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, pulled back the curtain on the next title in the legendary Gran Turismo franchise: Gran Turismo Sport, coming to PS4 in 2016 (prepare for at least 5 delays though).
The Polyphony team talked about the advances that PS4 has granted to allow them to continue improving the graphics, physics, and sound in an effort to deliver the most realistic driving simulator to date. Of course with GT Sport they’re looking to deliver more than just that; they want to re-invent the way people experience motorsports in gaming.
In order for that to happen PD turned to a new feature along with a new partner. Below we’ve got the explanation of both of these new pieces from PlayStation's European Brand Manager, Penrose Tackie.

PlayStation VR's Paris Games Week Sizzle Reel

The fine folks over at +PlayStation LifeStyle have posted the PlayStation VR sizzle reel for Sony's upcoming Virtual Reality device for the PlayStation 4. I have been very skeptical about anything and everything VR and really didn't see anything winning me over, however, with over 200+ developers making games for the's starting to gain momentum.

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for PSVR

Until Dawn came out for the PlayStation back in August and surprised (even scared) people into submission. Many of my friends and colleagues picked up the title out of pure intrigue, as no one really knew what to expect from a first party title that just somewhat came out of nowhere.
But! With the success the game received, we all felt like there would be more to this story than just a one off title. And guess what? We were right! Because today at the Paris Games Week Conference, Sony unveiled Until Dawn:  Rush of Blood for PlayStation’s new VR machine coming next year.

Check out the trailer below.

Battleborn Beta Comes to PlayStation 4 First!

Paris Games Week is this week and in case you were concerned about missing some of the delectable morsels of news…well, we’ve got you covered! And to jumpstart our coverage of the festivities, we’ve got Battleborn news. A list of questions was posed in front of the PlayStation Nation (by Battleborn producer Chris Thomas) over of the PlayStation Blog:
“Is it a co-op game?
Is it a competitive multiplayer game?
Is there a story?
Can you play that story solo or cooperatively?
Is there couch co-op?
Is there loot?
Is there character progression?
Am I tired of writing questions? … Yes.”

The Open Beta is coming soon, in early 2016, in fact February 9th! The PlayStation 4 will be the first console to pick up the beta, so if you’re on Xbox One…you’ll have to wait.
They also went on to detail a few of the modes that will be featured in Battleborn:
Capture: The traditional King-of-the-Hill style mode.

Meltdown: This mode sounds similar to anyone that has played a MOBA before, specifically Smite and the …

Star Wars Battlefront Beta: Why the Hate?

I don't really understand all the hate I have been seeing on social media about the Star Wars Battlefront Beta. As a gamer that is lucky enough to get access to ANY beta, I am excited to play anything that comes my way before the game's actual launch date. Sure the SWB had issues, but that is what betas are for. I want to cover a few issues on both sides of the fence, positive and negative.
Except for the rebel facial features that seemed a little cartoony, I absolutely love the graphics the beta had to offer. The rendered snow, with the glimmering crystals was absolutely amazing. The reflection of Darth Vader's or Luke Skywalker's lightsaber off of the walls in the rebel base on Hoth brought tears to my eyes.Depite the lack of content (as i said previously, it is a beta after all), I felt fully immersed. On both sides of the fight on Walker Assault, I felt as if I was in the battle of Hoth.Playing as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader...really, do i need to embe…

PlayStation 4 Price Cut Worldwide!

At TGS 2015 Sony announced a price cut for the PS4 in Japan, leading everyone to begin speculating of a price cut for other territories, whether Sony really needed it or not.The price cut in Japan bring the system from 39,980 yen ($333.96) to 34,980 yen.Now this is an interesting move for Sony which places the PS4 at the same price of the Xbox One going into the holiday season. Microsoft permanently dropped the price of the 500 GB Xbox One (after 6 months of flip/flopping the price) to $349 back in June, and while introducing the 1 TB unit at $399.The PS4's new $349.99 price applies to the standard model of the system, the one with a 500gb hard drive. Of course Sony will be offering a wide range of game bundles this fall with the PS4, and the cut applies to the price of those as well.
