Assassins Creed Syndicate PC launch date slightly delayed.

November 19th will be the day that PC players will get their hands on AC Syndicate. While those on console will spend the 23rd of October assassinating, PC players are left slightly behind so as to "...get the most stable, optimized version of the game on day one."

Considering the disastrous release of Assassins Creed Unity, it seems quite logical that Ubisoft would like to avoid another name tarnishing fiasco. Hopefully they deliver a quality and at least relatively bug free title this holiday season.

Ubisoft spoke more on this over at the Ubi-blog

Looking at a September release, Night Operations brings Zavod: Tactical Graveyard, a map that will have a few changes and additions that will allow for more stealthy, tactical play. Players can expect to have Destructible light sources and enhanced sound in this new free expansion.
"We quickly realized there was more to it than just making a pretty map. It would need to feature a new sound landscape, destructible lights, and a different sort of gameplay. This lead to us focusing on the creation of Zavod: Graveyard Shift, based on Zavod 311, a new map that brings with it several improvements and tweaks to allow for more stealthy and tactical gameplay.

We touched things like passive/active spotting to make it easier to flank your opponent. We’ve improved the sound system so you can pinpoint where those footsteps come from. Additionally, …

Backwards compatibility, DVR, and more from Microsoft at Gamescom.

Microsoft talked about quite a few noteworthy things at Gamecom today. Some may end up being game changers, and others are just things to help them stay competitive in their fight against Sony. Microsoft seems to be doing the right thing by aiming right at the core of the market and trying to please the people that pushed them where they are today.
Xbox One systems will start to see backwards compatibility this November. In addition to this, the Games with Gold that are available on Xbox 360 will be compatible with the Xbox One as well.

The Xbox One is in need of a easy to use QWERTY keyboard and it is finally getting one that will also have two programmable buttons. While we don't know the price or release date as of yet, Microsoft has started pre-orders.

Microsoft also showed off several new exclusive titles today. It would seem they are taking a much needed step to set themselves apart from Sony and give gamers a reason to buy their system.

One of the biggest features that wa…

Homefront The Revolution trailer shows off guerrilla fighting.

A rather spirited trailer for Homefront The Revolution displays a young boy's speech and what it means to guerrilla fighters. This game has great potential to be good, I look forward to seeing what Deep Silver Dambuster has to bring us. Players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be playing this alone and co-op in 2016.

There was also some very Far Cry like gameplay shown off as well. Take a look and decide for yourself.

Quantum Break's release date and action packed gameplay trailer.

We get a better look at the gameplay and the cast for the upcoming Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break. We get to see actor Shawn Ashmore (Iceman in the X-Men films) plays Jack Joyce who is attempting to reverse a time travel experiment; the character that caused the experiment is played by Aiden Gillen who is known for his role on Game of Thrones as Petyr Baelish, or Littlefinger as most of us know him. We also get to see Dominic Monaghan, who is most well known for playing Merry Brandybuck in all the Lord of The Rings movies. Lastly, Lance Reddick will also be taking part, he is most remembered as Phillip Broyles in J.J Abram's Fringe as well as Cedric Daniels in The Wire.

The big thing to remember is that Remedy brought us the first two Max Paybe games, so they are quite familiar with action titles. They also brought us the story soaked Alan Wake, and that shows they know how to give us atmosphere and a fantastic narrative. Expect to be playing this April 5th, 2016.
