Motion Sports Review

When Kinect launched for the Xbox 360 in the holiday of 2010 there were some interesting potential buys for people looking to spiff up their aging console. Refreshingly new experiences for any system after five years on the market tends to be difficult to come by. In order to consistently battle for the top spot of the charts, like the 360 has done for the last few years, you need to have a constant stream of content. That content needs to have unique, fun and fresh experiences. Kinect has done just that for Microsoft. Of course with titles like Kinect Sports, Dance Central and Child of Eden helping to attract millions of new gamers to the Xbox 360. There are those that would love to cash-in on that excitement as well. MotionSports from Ubisoft is one of those cash-in titles.

On behalf of Just 1 More Level. I want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! Have a wonderful day!

What I'm Currently Playing, Skyrim

I gotta say that Uncharted 3 will continue to be played on the multiplayer side very heavily over the course of the next year. BUT, Skyrim is (and will) suck away my time for the foreseeable future. I don't know how long, but I can say that what I've experienced thus far has been great. It is unbelievable how much detail is in this game. So far the only complaint I have revolves around the voice acting. In comparison to Oblivion I can see some improvements over the VA in IV, but that being said there appears to be some characters that still feel sub-par. Which is (of course) very nice to see. Bethesda took their time to make a wonderful game.

I have only played about 8 to 10 hours of the game. So i'm still just scratching the surface of what I can do. Started out as a Dark Elf (because I love elves and felt like making myself look evil) and I fully intend on playing through as a bad guy for once. My very first play through I want to be evil. This is something that is alwa…

Uncharted 3 Single Player Review

The journey of Nathan Drake continues and unfortunately this chapter didn't come before Uncharted 2. On it's own U3 is a brilliantly crafted game of amazing set pieces and gameplay that is more fluid than it's predecessors. That is what completely dumbfounds me. It has all the makings of being the best game this generation has ever seen, but falters in ways that just doesn't seem like Naughty Dog. The story is weak (basically feels like standard video game adventure fare), the characters feel old and tired and above all else, there just doesn't seem to be a strong connection between Nathan's gang this time around. Everyone seems like they would just rather roll over and die. Nathan even acts that way through most of the game.

To be honest though, after the crazy adventures of the first two games, Nathan probably did want to have it all end in U3. The problem then is he never does. So I was left having to put up with whining throughout the course of the story. …

Here's What I'm Playing, Uncharted 3 Edition

Well November is here and everything outside is dying or boringly going away for the colder weather. It's my favorite time of the year, cold. Of course this year has been a strong one from the get go. It is truly amazing for gamers. Gears of War 3, Halo: 10th Anniversary Edition, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3 (for PS3 gamers), Skyrim oh and a little game called Uncharted 3. There is many more blockbuster games that I left out, because I want to get on to Uncharted 3!
